TALKING THERAPY
Bab'yama co-founder Isabelle Roney, a consultant psychologist with the NHS of many years' standing, heads our team of highly experienced, compassionate therapists and counsellors.

We offer a range of therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, EDMR, EFT, mindfulness based therapy, integrative psychotherapy and life coaching.
​
We have the skills to work with a wide range of issues, from depression and anxiety to trauma and abuse.
MOVEMENT THERAPY
Trood Morrison, a yoga instructor and movement specialist with 30 years' practice and study, steers our talented movement practitioners working from our peaceful, purpose-designed studio.
​
While yoga has a very strong physical image across socials, our team is more interested in using the body to bring balance to the mind and peace to the heart.
​
We offer regular Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa and Flow classes, with occasional workshops in Restorative and Yin Yoga, and the gentle art of Qigong. In addition, we offer one-to-one sessions for those struggling to recover from injury and/or illness.


MINDFULNESS & MEDITATION
At Bab'yama, we're proud of the emphasis we place on mindfulness and meditation, something accessible to anyone and which can bring so much healing and richness into our everyday lives.

Many of our therapists and counsellors have trained with the Mindfulness Association and Trood is an experienced meditator following mainly in the Buddhist tradition.
